Associate AI Product Manager

Los Angeles, CA (in-office) · Reports to the Chief Product Officer
Base + equity

The company

Oberon buys and transforms mid-market operating businesses with AI agents, through Oberon Holdings, and runs the same kind of transformation for companies we don't own, through Oberon Studios. Most of what makes a company hard to fix is a solvable engineering problem: messy data, scattered institutional knowledge, and outdated workflows. We build that tooling once and make it sharper with every company we engage with.

We're small and early. A hire here takes on real responsibility fast.

The job

This role splits between two things: building outbound that gets Oberon in front of the right companies and working with our external delivery partner (the engineering team that builds and ships the work) to turn a client's problem into something we can scope and sell.

Early on, that also means fixing what's not working outbound today, including deliverability and tooling, and getting a clear read on what's landing, before adding more volume on top of it.

What you'll actually do

Requirements

Who this is

You might come from sales development, consulting, banking, or a startup where you gained responsibility and achieved impact. You should be able to speak to a client engagement you helped close, a campaign you ran end to end, or something you built and shipped.

On a discovery call, you sit with what a client is dealing with, ask the question that gets past the polished version of the problem, and bring back something the team can build against.

You're equally comfortable being the most junior person in a room with a client's leadership and grinding through an outbound list.

Compensation

Base salary guidance is $120,000 to $160,000, plus equity.

Equal opportunity

We hire on ability and fit, not background. Every applicant gets a fair look regardless of race, gender, age, religion, or any other status protected by law.
